I finished Amanda’s sweater!
It is the Anthropologie-Inspired Capelet. I am extremely happy with how it turned out (as long as it fits her correctly). I ended up using almost 8 skeins of the Hemp for Knitting Cashmere Canapa yarn. Amanda requested baby-poop green and I think I really found the color. Lets just all now hope and pray and the thing will fit properly! Yes, it will!
Better photos to come in a few weeks on its intended model.
In other randomness Joel and I went to the Oregon state fair yesterday. It was exhuasting. But I made felted soap!
Also, from our garden, I found this interesting looking tomato!
We made an awesome pot of soup tonight. I had some beef soup bones from my grandparents cows, and we ‘brewed’ that all day and then added onion, herbs, carrots, zucchini and squash from the garden. It was amazing! Apparently, I was way more into photographing the soup making process in the beginning than in the end, sorry for no ‘after’ photos, maybe I can take one of my tupperware at lunch tomorrow.
Lastly, I was carding some batts at knit night last monday night, and Allie decided that the batts were THE new fashion accessory. Check it out!
Enjoy! Have a great week!
