We removed the whole deck and replaced the yucky weed filled grass with trees and perennials. Just some to mention are: Lavender, Moss, Heuchera, Echinacea, Lupine, Heather, Sedum, Japanese Maple called “Ghost Dancer”, Iris, Daffodil, and more!
The rocks are crazy, we got them from a landscaping place close to our house and they are called Featherlight boulders. They are incredibly light for the size. They are some sort of volcanic rock I think.
It has been a lot of work but worth it. The back yard is almost ready and then there will be photos of that. All together we have hauled much lumber, 8 yards of dirt, 4 yards of mulch, a dozen bags of wood chips and all the plants
