Well, it was my birthday yesterday. I am at a weird spot in my life to be having my birthday; unemployed and life is crazy! We decided to carry on with the party this weekend, so here are some photos of the costumes I had a hand in. Oh, first, my scarry spread!

It was a fun party, we even watched Rocky Horror, which I have not done in years. I ate bad food and it was great. Oh, but what made it even better was the night before I got a call from a Potential Employer that they want to fly me out to their location for a big interview. So guess who is traveling tomorrow am….ME! I am in the midst of interview prep! I am excited and I think I want this job. It would take me away from friends and family but bring me closer to other friends again. Plus, I could be employed! What a great feeling.
So yesterday was my birthday, and celebrations continued. I had breakfast with a great friend who was visiting.

Then I worked on finding a suitcase and doing some packaging re-con at local stores. The ending on the day was great, Joel and I had dinner with both my parents and his at an awesome Hibachi restaurant. It was super fun, and I got some nice presents. It was great that I got to celebrate with everyone. Now, I must really focus on this interview. EHHH!
Sorry there are no knitting updates. I have been working away on the shawl and I am on the last chart, but with the party and interview prep it hasn’t really been touched since Friday. But I plan on getting a lot done on Joel’s socks while I am traveling tomorrow and this weekend.
