Remember back here when I mentioned a pair of socks being finished? I think they are owed a much better post.
These are the Tristan and Isolde socks from Janel Laidman.
I knit these with Creatively Dyed Yarn – Steele in the colorway Jill. Knit on size 1 addi turbos.
I liked this pattern. I had a little trouble with the heel, I think for my opinion the gusset was started too early, so I had the number of stitches I needed to turn the heel well before I was to the heel, so I still increased some stitches to get far enough to turn the heel, and then it ended up too deep. The cables were a lot of fun and kept it from being a boring knit. I liked that the cables went all the way around the leg portion too!
No socks on the needles right now, but a bunch of other knits I should make updates for. More to come!
