I am so sleepy! A fun day was had at the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival (OFFF)…. because I need any more yarn or fiber like hole in my head…
So it was a fun field trip with some of the knitting girls, yay! It was only about a 30 minute drive from my house, too! We got going early, but it was still crazy busy!
I got to watch a duck (I think) herding demo.

And I bought some stuff..Like I said, I need it….
(Oh, I apologize for the horrible photos. Camera phone and night time don’t do well, but I did my best)
So this is some rambouillet I got (I think it was around 8 oz or so total), a really nice close to natural white color

I also got from the same seller this black merino/white silk noilish blend for a steal (Cough*a dollar an ounce*Cough)!

8 oz of nylon that I am going to use to blend some batts to spin for socks!

A felting needle to play with some needle felting

Silk noil and wool balls to add to some fun batts for spinning!

Some beautiful fingering weight (I wish the colors were more accurate because they are intensely bright and happy) Superwash/nylon blend that I got from Knitted Wit and I am thinking about a Fair Isle sweater with black as the main color?!?!?

I got a steal on this Lantern Moon basket! It is a bright turquoise color and so adorable in its shaping!

Oh, and for a long thought of project for Joel, a Fedora hat form to I can make him one for his huge noggin!

It was grand!
Oh, and as I was emptying the memory card, I found photos from the state fair when we visited the sheep. Enjoy! Thanks for reading through to the end of this bad blog post!

(This was a tiny girl washing her tiny sheep in the ’sheep shower’ area in the sheep barn, so cute!)
