Hong Kong & China – other random stuff so far

Ok, so I have a few catch-up things to mention about Hong Kong and China so far.

I tried congee for the first time, I was not so sure about the first bite or two, but after a few more I think I like it, and could bea good comfort food!

Here is that Tofu/Bean Curd pudding with fruit on top served on top of dry ice! Awesome!

The meals in China are served around a big lazy susan, and the servers put more food out every couple minutes until it is all full up. It is fun to just take bites from each dish here and there.

And this same hotel, I did not notice last visit, but they imprint the end of the toilet paper when they make up the room!

All the bathrooms have a step up or lip to step over, and like an idiot I forget every time and trip into the bathroom. Maybe I will get it one of these times.

Have I me mentioned I love mango. Mango Mango Mango. And Sago (tapioca pearls). I love those too.

I bought some really delicious sake the other day. It was really good. I staged it in the hotel lobby pre drinking for artistic effect.

OK, I think we are caught up now.  It is Monday morning and I am about to head off on a new adventure.  I asked our supplier to take us to some factories, so we are off to do that today and tomorrow.  I know this will involve going quite far, a ferry, and lots of driving.  Knitting time???  Photo time??? I think so!!!
