So in the last week it has been my Birthday and I have had a cold. Yay and yuck.
First, to celebrate the Birthday I was gifted a beautiful fingering weight yarn in Keri colors and it fit perfectly into the thought lately that I need fingerless mitts. The yarn is Merino Sock yarn from LunabudKnits. Yummy! And here is what I made (with only a fraction of the yarn I might add).

I am playing around in the back of my head with writing out the pattern since I just made it up as I was going. I just need to find time to sit and do it (and the Gems sock pattern too!).

Second, since I was home sick I did a lot of napping, but when I wasn’t napping I decided I wanted to turn my ancient breeds yarn into these slippers. I was stupid and made them the big size and they are too big for me. But they are giftable to a guy, luckily. This was super fun though and I think I will make more!
I think I have not talked about it, but I do have a few other projects going on including a shawl for me, a shawl for a gift, Joel’s sweater and I started a pair of socks today, yahoo!
