My time in Shanghai continues with lots of people and lots of good food. Work is going really well, and we actually have had a little bit of free time too. Here is a photo documentary of the last two days…

Bikes are lined up like this everywhere you go.

This is Expo 2010, a World Expo being held here right now. It is huge!

Apparently the lines are ridiculous, and we just don’t have the time.

We drove past this stadium being built, and apparently it is being built for nothing. They build them and then find something to put in it later. Crazy.

Rural scene on outskirts of Shanghai.

A delicious lunch we had at the fake market. The beverage was called “Mango Ice Sand” and it was delicious.

I spent a bit of money here, it was awesome, I got some good stuff!

Shanghai egg tarts are much different then in Hong Kong, and I think I like them better here.

The Pearl Tower and downtown lit up at night

Chen Yi, the first Communist mayor of Shanghai

The boats all lit up on the river

ALL THE PEOPLE! It is so exhausting, it is so hard to get anywhere.

Street vendors at night, always selling fruit, it is so nice to see!

The streets of Shanghai at night.

Delicious soup that no one knew the name of. It was thick and sweet with egg and little dough balls in it.
Other stories, it rained like crazy yesterday, the streets were flooding within minutes. It thought that the car we were riding in was going to stall because of the lakes we were driving through. Seeing the people on their bikes was amazing going through water 2 feet deep.
Well, I think that is about it besides the stories of the Fake Market I shouldn’t tell. Though it is Saturday, we are off to visit another vendor. Horray!
