About Me!

Hi! My name is Keri!

I like to make things.  Early in my life my parents taught me how to do many things myself, from sewing to woodworking to baking.  I have never looked back since!  I love to sew and make my own clothes and have done a few quilts and things like that over the years.  My Mom taught me how to knit in about 10 minutes on Thanksgiving my Freshmen year of college and I have had some sort of project on the needles ever sense.  I have also crocheted a few projects,  but it is definitely not my preferred craft.  I love to build and engineer things with my Dad, but have been working on getting my own tools to do some things on my own.  Along with my wonderful husband Joel I get to do a lot of cooking and baking and grilling which is a lot of fun.  We do lots of experimentation and it is exciting.  I am always looking for something new to do, and challenge myself.  My friends hate it when we are shopping and I look at something and say, “I could make that!”

I like to have fun! I am more of a staying in type of person but I do like going out. I love to travel and go sight seeing. I like to spend time outside: camping, hiking, canoeing, etc.  I love watching movies and listening to music. I like playing games. I am a big fan of Apple computers. I enjoy taking care of my house plants and two cats. I tend to be a collector of things.
