Portland is finally starting to dry out and we are getting sun! Just in time because I bought a new bike!
Isn’t she beautiful? No name yet-I am open to suggestions. Joel and I have been riding to knitting (and his programmers meeting) every Monday night and the Farmers market every Wednesday night! Plus, today was this awesome thing in Portland where they shut down the streets in a 7 mile loop near our house and it was open for bikers and walkers. It connected local parks where there was food, entertainment and activities. It was so much fun. But after we finished the loop we needed more, so we decided to have an adventure and bike downtown. Look at us on top of the Broadway bridge!
The garden has been doing pretty well and is really enjoying the sun we have had lately. I have been harvesting salad greens and spinach so far. And strawberries! These are my first strawberries!
They were so delicious! Everything seems to be doing really well. I was a bit nervous about one of my tomato plants but it seems to be perking up. I did the hard task of thinning this week in the chard and carrots. I just can not wait to get more stuff to eat!
