Yarn: Claudia Handpainted Silk Lace weight about 400-450 yards (ish) in Ink color
I am extremely happy with how this turned out. The pattern was really nice and enjoyable to knit and I continue to love this yarn. It is left from a shawl I knit this winter and talked about here. Have I mentioned that I love this yarn? It is so enjoyable to knit with and then it blocks out and is just so amazing! I am in love.
Oh, and there was a crocheted bindoff. Kind of putzy, but it looks nice.

You did a ftstanaic job on both projects. They look ftstanaic on you! To answer your question, I think all of the above would be factors, but I wouldn’t mind pops of color. Neutrals are great as they’re versatile but to have knit gifts up in them for others can be a bit boring.
