I knit this with handspun merino/silk for the trim and undyed merino fingering weight for the body. I used size 2 needles for the trim and size 4 for the body.
I am extremely happy with the outcome. I was a little frustrated with how the pattern was written, mostly for the beginning collar portion of the top. But it was still a very easy knit, the lace pattern was really nice and easy to memorize. I think I would even knit this again. Just if you want to knit this be warned that you might be a little confused while following the pattern.
