Weekend #3

Man. Lots has happened this week. Not sure what to all say, lets just try to remember what all that happened was…

After just a few hours in the house, the cats decided they liked it.

Oh, so Monday was moving day. Just one photo of the boxes at the old house.

Moving day was a long day. The 2 movers showed up with their 25 ft truck at 9am. I think they finally had the truck loaded around 1ish and not everything fit! Eck! So then we headed over to the other house and started unloading. Unloading went much faster and they were done around 4:30pm. Long day. But, we could still move around the house even piled full of boxes! That was exciting.

Nights this week were fairly low-key. Little projects each night, getting things unpacked and put away. This is where we are at as of tonight:

Guest Bedroom:




Biggest thing this week in here was we bought a bed! Also, hung blinds, closet curtain, and painted the door!

Master Bedroom:



Biggest thing this week in here was getting to sleep on our bed again! I got awesome rugs at Target, and got our door painted!

Dining room w/ sitting area:



Not much happened here this week except for lots of junk being piled in. We got the art hung and it really looks awesome with the wall color. I also got some plants situated which makes me happy.

Kitchen:




This is where most of the unpacking has happened. These cupboards are full! But it seems to be fitting ok, so that is nice. And all the drawers are awesome. Still to do are paint the trim and then make curtains. I bought fabric to make valances. Check it out!

Office:

Big pile of mess. Next.

Storage:

Not too bad. Not full, and nothing on shelves or anything like that yet. Yes!

Basement Bathroom:


Getting all settled in, much better.

Living Room:



Coming together nicely. Lots of bookshelves that we don’t know where to put yet. But exciting! Definitely cozy.

Garage:

A bit full, but ok.

Craft room:
Full. Forgot to take a picture. I decided I want to paint before I unpack it, but I found awesome fabric for curtains!

Oh, and I finished a pair of socks this week.
