I made more slippers….
these are for a Christmas present
And these are for me! Crazy! I love all the colors.
I also reknit a scarf I was unhappy with from years ago and never wore. I cast on sideways and changed color every row, leaving a tail for fringe. I love it now!
I have also been spinning!
A while back I got this Corriedale fiber, 4.9 oz in the Laura Ingles Wilder Colorway from SheepishCreations. I have been itching to spin it, so spin it I did.
It yielded 420 soft fluffy yards. It looks heavy fingering to sport weight. I haven’t measured it yet and it is wet right now. But I love it. Suggestions for a project?
Lastly, and long overdue, is an introduction to my most wonderful new tool.
Earlier this year I mentioned (well, heavily suggested) to my Dad that I wanted him to make me a skein winder. I am done with the niddy noddy. And look what he made! Isn’t it beautiful?
Here it is all set up with my spinning wheel.
And it even has a counter! So awesome!
And here it is with the whole skein of yarn. So much nicer, easier, and no counting! Dad, you are awesome!!!
Still to come- one more pair of slipper! Maybe some christmas cookies too!

what an awesome gadget! Did he buy a pattern or just wing it?
jealous(10000000)
He based it off of some he had looked at online, but basically just winged it (now people will begin to understand where I get it from).
Hey
Make a bonnet out of the Laura Ingels Wilder colorway. Or at least an earflap hat
Peace
Lori
