Things have been busy busy!
I worked on another sewing project with the hat last weekend. This cute little project bag! So easy and fun (except the zipper, I hate zippers).
I also finished my Ishbel shawl.

This is made with almost an entire skein of Dream in Color Starry in the Dusky Aurora colorway.
I am really happy with the outcome, I have been wearing it quite a bit!
Lastly, I made another pair of the crochet slippers for a Christmas present. This is mystery yarn from my stash. These are a much more reasonable size that will fit the recipient well.
I have three more pair of these to go!

love the shawl
color looks great on you too!
Hi:)
Like the colorway you used for your slippers. Can you tell me what hook size you used? I wanted to know how you got four round granny squares and didn’t have them come out too big. My first pair used a G hook and each square measured 5 ” diagonally, only completing 3 rounds.
Thanks:)
Angie
Sorry for the lack of details. I used a size H hook, and they are probably best suited for a women’s size 9-10ish foot. I did 4 double crochet rounds and then 1 single crochet round. The yarn is worsted, maybe even light worsted. I didn’t measure the WPI on it. I hope that helps!
