Last Day. There is sadness and gladness.
Today I wore my milk protein snuggly shawl. I headed to my one class this morning, Ergonomics for Knitters with Carson Demers. It was really eye-opening and informative.
After class I wandered around the marketplace and managed to again not buy anything! Then, it was the line for the Luminary panel:
Ridiculous, right? Check out the hall!
And then, they were all there:
Cat Bordhi
Nancy Bush
Priscilla Gibson-Roberts
Judith MacKenzie-McCuin
Lucy Neatby
Deborah Robson
Meg Swansen
Barbara Walker
Anna Zilboorg
Stephanie Pearl-McPhee
Tina Newton
It was entertaining, enlightening, and thought provoking. I am really glad I went, though I am exhausted! More photos:
Finally, there were closing remarks. Tina spilled the beans about something, the most we know is that there is more of something to come.
And then there were many thank yous to be said and praise to be given.
Everything ended with me winning no door prizes, again, sad! And the singing of Happy Birthday to Elizabeth Zimmerman and cake! Bring in the cake guys!
It was such a great event. I am pooped, and I have to go back to work in the morning! All I can think about are socks. Well, I suppose it could be something much worse. Thanks for letting me share the adventure with you!

Just found your blog. I was not one of the lucky registrants, so I’ve been living the Sock Summit vicariously through blogs and pictures. Considering everything else that you were doing, it was very considerate of you to take the time to keep the rest of us up to date.I’m finding it hard to believe that it’s already over. By the way, I’m terribly jealous of your Dream In Colour Starry. I have to find some of that yarn. Cheers, Hazel.
It was exhausting, but in a good way.
Keri,
Thank you for sharing. Now, get some well earned rest.
Hi Keri, your pictures and wonderful and I hope you don’t mind that I’ve referred the members of my local guild to your blog to view them. My own efforts were pathetic and I deleted the post.
What a great four days!

Tried to edit the “and” to “are”… guess I’m still at the summit.
Joan-
Thank you so much! And I do not mind, refer away!
