Happy Blogiversary!

It was one year ago today that I started this blog!  I can not believe how the year has flown by.  And so many things have happened in my life in the last year, it is fun for me to go back and look through my life.

Well, there is something new to be excited about!  Today I am announcing the opening of my etsy store!  Horray!  Check it out here, and in the sidebar down the right side of your window.  I plan to sell a variety of handspun yarns, rovings, batts, sock blanks, and more!  If you have any special requests, please let me know!

Also, to celebrate my Blogiversary, I have decided to give away a present to one of you lucky readers!  I just happen to have an extra copy of “Whimsical Little Knits” by Ysolda that needs a happy home.  All you have to do is leave a comment and share what your favorite memory of my blog has been; your favorite project, tip, story, etc.  Nothing long is needed, just a quick sentence (or more if you would like).  Entries will be open for one week.  Monday, August 24th at noon Pacific Standard Time  I will randomly choose one person to win the book.  Good luck!

Thanks for joining me on this blogging journey!  Lets hope the next year is just as great as the last!

  • hmmm… trying to remember when I started reading your blog! I think it was around the time of the milk protein shawl… but I really enjoy reading your articles and seeing what you’ve been up to, from gardening to spinning and knitting, and travelling of course.

    Happy Bloggiversary!

  • I started following your blog very recently- to read about sock summit. I like your writing style, so I’m staying :)

  • Congrats Keri! Time flies doesn’t it. Let’s see, I loved the posts from Sock Summit. I think my fav is still Llama, llama, just because it brings back the memories of that night when we were all going out and looking at the trash bags of fiber in your trunk. So, are we going to see any of infamous llama fiber on your Etsy site (which is great—good luck with that project).

  • So earlier this month I was procrastinating and noticed on the list of Ravelry group tags one that said camping. I clicked on the list of groups was one about camp counselors clicked on it and one of the entries was from you. What caught my eye was that you had worked at Pine Lake Camp. I worked there in 1974! I’m also originally from Waupaca, but my friends all went to Imago Dei back then (it was a synod thing back then). Anyway, small world. I enjoy your blog, especially this summer and your garden adventures.
