Well, I haven’t been getting anything creative finished lately. This is because my parents are visiting!

Say hi Mom and Dad!
They are the source of my Otrembarific creative goodness, and I am happy they are here visiting! Last weekend we were all over Portland. I will show you a few photos to enjoy where we were!

Portland Saturday Market full of people, including this dog carrying his water bottle.

We toured a battleship (and asked lots of questions)

and enjoyed the pageantry of the Rose Parade

We watched Dragon Boat racing on the river

Took a ghost tour of the Portland Underground

Visited the Pittock Mansion for the view of the city and gardens

We hung out in the Rose test gardens

And enjoyed the beauty and peace of the Japanese gardens
It was a full weekend, which left me quite exhausted by the end. I have been recovering and actually knit a few rows on Joel’s sweater. This weekend promises to be another busy one, so I forsee no more knitting in my near future. But next week brings a possible spinning class and a road trip to the Black Sheep Gathering down in Eugene. I am pretty excited! Have a great week, and I will leave you with a zen moment from the Japanese Gardens.
