Me just before our wedding, April 26th 2008
Yesterday I said goodbye to my wedding dress. I donated it to Brides against Breast cancer. They have gown sales and allow brides-to-be to get a great gown at a great price PLUS the proceeds go to support those with breast cancer. Since I really don’t need my dress anymore I thought it would be great to give it a second life that it could do something other than take up room hanging in a closet. I hope whoever gets it appreciates it as I have. And if any of you out there have bridal, bridesmaids, mothers, or flower girl dresses I would ask you to think about donating too. They also take jewelry and veils and just plain ol’ money donations. I am glad to give making memories my dress because it made memories for me and now can make more memories for another girl.
