I made it home! What a trip. It is weird that I spend like 15 hours traveling but ended up in the same time as I left, crazy. The day was pretty uneventful; I had to pack everything and get to the airport. Jeff knew of a free shuttle van to the train terminal which has an express train to the airport. I hadn’t relized when we arrived, but the Hong Kong airport is HUGE! The flight went ok, I got a bit of a nap, watched a bunch of movies were actually a bunch I wanted to see so that was great. The only bad part is there was a lady and her older mom next to me and they wanted to get up like every hour. Luckily coming back through customs and everything went well, and I slept through the flight back to Portland. It felt weird to drive a car again and come home. It might just be because I was tired, but it was like I didn’t know where to drive to when I got to my car.
So, I sadly did not get as much knitting done as I had hoped. There was really just airplane time really. And I had to do some sleeping on the airplane some of the time. At least I made a little progress!

As you can see I got minimal sock knitting done. Which is fine, no big rush.

I got a good amount accomplished on my scarf/wrap. When I left I was just after the middle section with a lot of white in it.

The most significant accomplishment has been made on the baby blanket. Yay! I think it is almost done, actually. I am doing a row of brown on the top and then I will do a row of blue on the right side, and then I will crochet a border with green. I am really happy with how this has turned out.
Oh, and sadly Joel’s sweater was not touched. I guess it will just have to wait for another day.
Now to adjust to being back in the US and a new time zone!
