The snow is falling and friends are calling, “You-hou!” So we are getting crazy weather here in Portland lately. Lots of snow that people are not used to. Already this afternoon my flight for tomorrow was canceled. Yay. I sat on the phone for 1 hour and 25 minutes and had to reschedule my flight for Monday, boo, but I will have better connections and first class, yay! I am watching the news now and we have crazy freezing rain coming any minute to add to the 4+ inches of snow we have gotten at my house.
So happy news! I have two of the new projects finished! And another two started! Yay!

Teal-Bean hat
I worked on this hat Sunday and Monday, that was all! Super quick knit, and I love it!

Look at those bobbles I did!
I used a mystery yarn, acrylic, teal, worsted weight. The only changes I made to the pattern is that I used worsted weight and sizes 4 and 6 needles. And the best part?

Remaining teal yarn - 4 yards!
Also, I finished John’s cozy in time to give it to him today when he took the kitties.

Garmin cozy
John was so excited, he said his Garmin was much warmer on the drive home. This was super simple. I used size 6 needles and worsted acrylic (also mystery yarn from my stash). I cast on 48 stitches, did 2×2 reibbing for about 3 inches and then cast off. See? Super easy.
I have John’s mitts half finished, and Paul’s scarf started, and I should get those done over the next two weeks. Now I need to go unpack and figure out what to do tomorrow! Happy Holidays everyone, and I hope you have safe travels, and I hope I do too!

Hey Girl! So glad you made it out there safely. Hope you made it back home for Christmas/Channuka. Will you be at knit night this next week? If not take care. Hope you enjoy your new home and job. keep knitting and having fun.
Hugs
