Today is a good day. I got lots of sleep last night, got up and rode the recumbant bike for 45 minutes, it is FRIDAY!, I have the afternoon off, I am getting my hair cut and colored, I am making lasagna for dinner, we have a fun weekend planned, and best of all I FINISHED CHART 2 ON MY HIDCOTE SHAWL!!!!!!
While riding bike this morning at 6am I finished the second chart on the Hidcote shawl. In the middle of the chart I had actually run into some problems and frogged back to my lifeline at the end of chart 1 (Thank goodness I listened to advice and put in a lifeline!). But I now have chart 2 done and it has the right number of stitches everywhere, and seems to have the lace pattern all matching up. Here it is, sorry for the crummy pictures. 6:30am photography in my dark kitchen trying to hold out the lace and take the picture myself does not really mix.
