Freedom Points are Fabulous!

Look what appeared in my mail Friday:

Lots of Money worth of Best Buy gift cards

I redeemed credit card points for Best Buy gift cards, LOTS OF THEM!  I immediately rushed off to my nearest Best Buy (17 miles from my house).  I got there, made a bee-line for the camera section, and the guy was very shocked when I very confidently went up to him and said, “I want to buy a Sony a300″.  If he hadn’t dawdled so much I would have been in and out in 5 minutes.  Well, I made it home within an hour of leaving and came back with this.

Oh happy day!  The hardest part was waiting for HOURS for the battery to charge.  Luckily my very awesome compact flash card that my wonderful husband found me came in the mail the day before, so once everything was all charged up I was able to play away.  The kitties were not so amused.

Saturday we went down to the Milwaukee area to visit friends and go to a party.  Congrats Nick & Carrie!  We stayed with Kristy & Jason and Sunday I got to paint.  I love painting.  Let me rephrase that.  I love painting walls and things and basically anything except ceilings.  Here are some progress shots.

It was looking pretty awsome by the time we left, we had the ceilings finished, the accent wall finished, and all the blue walls trimmed out.  I love trimming :)

Once I got into the car to come home I realized, man, I AM SORE!  That ceiling painting is brutal!  Well, we got home with enough time to watch the Packers loose, which was sad.  But my fantasy team including Romo and Owens is going to win, so at least there is something good coming out of it.

Oh, and most importantly, I am onto the ribbing again in my sweater!

Cables are finished, on to the ribbing!

I told myself that I was going to get the ribbing started this weekend and I did it!  I had some major yarn knots that I had to spend a lot of time untangling too.  I am about 20% of the ribbing on the top done already!  So I just need to chug away at that quickly and everything will be good!

I am tired, so I am not sure what I will get done tonight. PLUS there is a new How I Met Your Mother on tonight, first of the season, so that is SUPER exciting!  Have a happy Monday all!
